With 11-inch all-copper cavity, DB4002 very high factor provides greater selectivity than smaller aluminum-made cavities. Four models available and, greater selectivity, more cavities used series. Field Tunable cavity must field tuned, turning threaded nut, frequency range. Cavity tested specified frequency, however, field tuning required because turned completely down shipment. Adjustable Selectivity Rotatable coupling loops 0.5, obtain corresponding total attenuations, with minimum attenuation desired signal. Frequency Stable Invar rod, with nearly zero expansion, assures frequency stability over wide temperature range. Positive Contact Beryllium copper fingerstock with spring compression used maintain positive contact between fixed moving parts center conductor. Very High current carrying surfaces made copper silver-plated brass enhance high factor, which especially important when attenuated frequency close passed frequency.
