Introduction
This reference design reports RD1218.01 Radio Receiver demonstrates highly integrated single chip audio receiver from antenna loudspeaker voice transmission applications. details about Single Chip 230MHz Receiver, refer XE1218 Data sheet. System Overview
RD1218.01 Reference Design describes develop cost effective fully integrated Receiver. Using XE1218, this application performs signal reception Audio processing (antenna loudspeaker out). This Reference Design limited receive only frequency, which fixed quartz (see design modification change frequency). Ultra Power receiver, XE1218, composed following main functional blocks: Receiver Chain including audio output stage Local Oscillator block control service blocks. receiver implemented with following blocks: noise amplifier mixer used down converter transfer signal from band intermediate frequency (IF) 25kHz.
offset cancellation block used attenuate Filter chain used amplify filter signal. limiter providing demodulator with fully digital signals. digital delay line demodulator that converts signal from limiter into pulse width modulated signal twice frequency. This block also generates MUTE signals; signal used inside demodulator order track clock frequency frequency. audio stage used filter input signal provide volume control output buffering. block uses MUTE signal generated demodulator switch on/off output buffer driving output.
