eKK6111 Keyboard Decoder
Power-on Reset Self Test
duration decoder Power-on-Reset (POR) should within milliseconds seconds after power applied decoder. After executing POR, receiver executes self test. LEDs turned beginning self test. self test takes minimum milliseconds maximum milliseconds. self test successful, completion code sent system decoder starts read decode data from module. self test fails, error code sent, decoder disabled waits command from system. completion codes sent between milliseconds seconds after POR, between milliseconds after RESET command acknowledged.
Decoder Data Output
When decoder ready send data system, first checks clock data lines. either state, data stored buffer. both high state, decoder starts clocking data out. Data will valid before trailing edge after leading edge clock pulse. During transmissions decoder checks clock line least microseconds. system lowers clock lines before leading edge 10th clock, decoder should stop sending, then buffer data return clock data high state.
Decoder Data Input
When system ready send data decoder, first checks line decoder sending data. decoder sending data sending data reached 10th clock, system inhibit interface forcing clock line more than microseconds prepares send data. decoder checks clock line status least every milliseconds. system Request Send (RTS) detected, decoder clocks bits After 10th bit, decoder checks high state data line then pulls clocks more signal system that data been received. data after 10th bit, indicates frame error. decoder should continue count until data line goes high, then pulls issues RESEND system.
Device
EM83110A support device mode: Controllable mode: Using bits switch control device Random generate mode: Using push bottom entry device mode. EM83110A will receives seconds device after push bottom pressed. When reset, device will recovery from EEPROM.
