LVC823A 9-bit bus-interface flip-flop built using advanced dual metal CMOS technology. LVC823A device designed specifically driving highly capacitive relatively low-impedance loads. device particularly suitable implementing wider buffer registers, ports, bidirectional drivers with parity, working registers. With clock-enable (CLKEN) input low, nine D-type edge-triggered flip-flops enter data low-to-high transitions clock. Taking CLKEN high disables clock buffer, latching outputs. This device noninverting data inputs. Taking clear (CLR) input causes nine outputs low, independently clock. buffered output-enable (OE) input used place nine outputs either normal logic state (high logic levels) high-impedance state. does affect internal operations latch. Previously stored data retained data entered while outputs high-impedance state. LVC823A been designed with ±24mA output driver. This driver capable driving moderate heavy load while maintaining speed performance. ensure high-impedance state during power power down, should tied through pullup resistor; minimum value resistor determined current-sinking capability driver. Inputs driven from either 3.3V devices. This feature allows this device translator mixed 3.3V/5V system environment.
