Model Description
Serial Server (SS1) designed make easy connect serial port device your network without local host. remote terminal then used monitor, configure, manage, send receive data serial port device through telnet. This module also connect asynchronous serial devices through between LAN's routers when used client-server mode (requires modules). Connections will automatically opened when units power when client-server mode, eliminating need manual requests. feature called EtherModem mode allows serial device treat true "Ethernet Modem", using normal modem control response strings such "ATD", "ATE", +++, etc. This allows single connect multiple remote servers (either SS1's telnet servers) under control attached serial device.
