CDBCAPTAUDIO
OVERVIEW CAPTAUDIO adapter board converts S/PDIF signal into format which CAPTURE board read. CAPTAUDIO adapter board accept S/PDIF signal either electrical optical form. TOSLINK connectors provided. CS8412 converts S/PDIF signal into separate serial data, clock, left/right signals. These signals then passed CAPTURE board conductor ribbon cable. Figure functional block diagram CAPTAUDIO adapter board S/PDIF signal from TOSLINK connector input CS8412. CS8412 decodes S/PDIF signal outputs digital audio information SDATA, FSYNC pins. These signals synchronized with MCLK using HCT175 latch. output HCT175 routed 10pin stake header, which connected ribbon cable CAPTURE board. diskette contains files configuring CAPTURE board four word lengths (24, bits). These files must copied CAPTURE software's "hex" subdirectory. Connections: Connect CAPTURE board RS232 cable. Connect CAPTAUDIO board CAPTURE board conductor serial cable. Connect S/PDIF signal CAPTAUDIO board. Supply volt power CAPTURE CAPTAUDIO boards. Copy Application Software Hard Drive: Insert Diskette "CDBCAPTAUDIO Application Software CDBCAPTURE" into disk drive. Read "readme.doc" file. Follow instructions readme file copying application software onto hard drive. Operation: CAPTURE software operation with CAPTAUDIO board, select "PART NUMBER" from "SETUP" menu. PART NUMBER selection, select either Bit", Bit", Bit" Bit".
