Rated Voltage: This term refers maximum continuous working voltage permissible across entire operating temperature range. Multilayer ceramic capacitors extremely sensitive voltage, brief applications voltage above rated will result immediate failure. However, reliability will reduced exposure sustained voltages above rated. Capacitance: standard unit capacitance farad. practical capacitors, usually expressed microfarads (10-6 farad), nanofarads (10-9 farad), picofarads (10-12 farad). Standard measurement conditions follows: Class 1,000 pF): Class (over 1,000 pF): Class Class III: 1MHz VRMS maximum. 1kHz VRMS maximum. VRMS.
