DESCRIPTION
Seriesof DC/DC converters offers watts output power over full military temperature range with efficiency. Thick-film hybrid techniques provide military/aerospace reliability levels optimum miniaturization. Series power density rating watts/in3. converters packaged hermetically sealed metal cases, making them ideal military, aerospace other high reliability applications. Units available with standard screening, "ES" screening, fully compliant versions (see Section screening conditions).
SYNCHRONIZATION
offers synchronization feature that allows designer match switching frequency converter frequency system clock. free-run (unsynchronized) mode, unit switches (nominal). sync mode, converter will frequency between kHz. sync control operates with quasi-TTL signal duty cycle between 60%. Synchronizing converter with system clock allows designer confine switching noise clock transitions, minimizing interference reducing need filtering. sync should connected input common when use.
CONVERTER DESIGN
converters constant frequency, pulse-width modulated switching regulators which quasi-square wave, single ended, forward converter design.
