INHIBIT FUNCTION

DESCRIPTION
Interpoint's MHF+ SeriesTriple DC/DC converters provide wide input voltage range delivering watts total output power with output voltages VDC. main output, VDC, will supply watts auxiliaries will supply watts combined power. Full power operation -55° +125°C plus ability withstand transients milliseconds make these converters ideal choice your high reliability systems.
SYNCHRONIZATION

CONVERTER DESIGN
MHF+ Triple Series DC/DC converters incorporate dual-phase, phase-shifted technology with continuous flyback topology. This design eliminates minimum load requirement main output eliminates cross regulation effects between main output voltage auxiliary output voltages. phase-shifted design offers further benefit reduced input output ripple.
SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION
Internal current limiting circuitry protects three outputs against short circuits. When output power exceeds approximately 130% maximum output power, output currents limited. addition, separate current limiting circuitry protects each output individually resulting normal operation either main auxiliaries, whichever shorted condition.
INHIBIT FUNCTION
open collector, compatible, inhibit terminal (pin provides shut-down start-up control. Applying logic level (<0.8 referenced input common, will disable output converter. When inhibited input current reduced less there generation switching noise. inhibit terminal typically sinks when converter inhibited. Leaving terminal open pulling high will enable converter. open collector interface logic high voltages volts. (Refer Figure connection diagram.) open collector interface required logic high excess open circuit voltage inhibit terminal, volts, less than volts.
PACKAGING
