CAMD's PRC202/212 Integrated Resistor-Capacitor Termination Network designed eliminate transmission line effects high speed data lines. This thin film network support (terminate) data lines, requires power. small surface mount packages improve board yields reliability, minimize space routing problems board, reduce assembly costs. PRC202/212 space efficient cost effective replacement conventional MLCC surface mount chip resistors capacitors. thin film networks? terminating used reduce eliminate reflections transmission line. perform this function only when impedance value matches characteristic impedance transmission line. Passive components affect electrical performance electronic systems. reality, every resistor some parasitic series inductance parasitic capacitance; every capacitor both series resistance inductance. speeds, these parasitics affect performance resistors capacitors.
