APPLICATION
This series Silicon Transient Suppressors used applications where large voltage transients permanently damage voltage-sensitive components. diode used applications where induced lightning rural remote transmission lines presents hazard electronic circuitry (ref: R.E.A. specification P.E. 60). This Transient Voltage Suppressor diode pulse power rating 1500 watts millisecond. response time diode clamping action effectively instantaneous 10-9 seconds bidirectional); therefore, they protect integrated circuits, devices, hybrids, other voltage sensitive semiconductors components. diodes also used series parallel increase peak power ratings.
