DESCRIPTION
SigmaTel's STAC9704/07 general purpose 18-bit, full duplex, audio codec that conforms analog component specification AC'97. STAC9704/07 incorporates SigmaTel's proprietary Sigma-Delta technology achieve signal quality excess SNR. DACs, ADCs, mixers integrated with analog I/Os which include four analog line-level stereo inputs, analog line-level mono inputs, three output channels. Also included SigmaTel's stereo enhancement (SS3D) extra true line-level headphones speaker amplifiers. STAC9704/07 communicates five wire ACLink digital component AC'97 providing flexibility audio system design. Packaged small AC'97 compliant 48-pin TQFP, STAC9704/07 placed motherboard, daughter boards, add-on cards, PCMCIA cards, outside main chassis such speaker. STAC9707 tested AVdd DVdd +3.3V.
