hardware components except transceiver same STUSB02E STUSB03 evaluation boards. evaluation boards comprised mini-B connector, controller, transceiver, 2-to-4 demultiplexers required discrete components (pull-up resistors, series resistors power supply capacitors). device configured through jumpers main signals accessed through test points. evaluation board powered from mini-B optionally from external supply. transceiver STUSB02EQR/ STUSB03EQR connected communication lines microcontroller. USBVCC obtained from controller providing transceiver also supply 74LCX139. Since ST72F63B low-speed microcontroller, therefore pull-up resistor connected transceiver. Hence, STUSB02E STUSB03 acts low-speed transceiver. Also transceiver connected low-speed selection. 74LCX139MTR used convert signals from microcontroller signals STUSB02E/STUSB03E. This device used because some signals need polarity conversion whereas other signals just need level conversion. STUSB02E STUSB03 single chip transceivers that support both fullspeed low-speed operations. Both have integrated regulator which allows direct powering from VBUS. transceivers also support sharing mode when VBUS present which allows D+/D- lines shared with other serial protocols. They also designed operate down that they compatible with lower system voltages most portable systems, which include PDAs, players cell phones.

74LCX139MTR low-voltage CMOS dual 2-to-4 line decoder/ demultiplexer. ideal low-power high-speed applications. interfaced signal environment inputs. active enable input used gating data input demultiplexing applications. While enable input held high, four outputs high independently other inputs. same speed performance well combined with lower power consumption. inputs outputs equipped with protection circuits against static discharge, giving them immunity transient excess voltage. explained above this device used interfacing between microcontroller STUSB02/STUSB03E signals. 74LVX139MTR device also used also tolerant inputs.

LD2985BM33R voltage regulator
LD2985BM33R fixed output voltage regulator. ultra-low drop voltage quiescent current make them particularly suitable low-noise, low-power applications battery-powered systems. sleep mode, quiescent current less than when INHIBIT pulled low. Shutdown logic control function available (TTL compatible).
Note:
LD2985BM33R usage optional board. configuring jumpers J9,J13,J11, external voltage regulator switched off. this case, internal voltage regulator microcontroller used power 74LCX139MTR STUSB02E/ STUSB03 VIF. When external voltage regulator LD2985BM33R used powering 74LCX139MTR STUSB02E/ STUSB03 overall current consumption board increases.
