RealView Developer Sample Base Projects
RealView Developer (RVDK) feature full software development environment AdvantageMicrocontrollers. development environments become more complex handle multiple configurations features, desirable simplify project configuration setup quick start. order simplify development Advantage MCUs, RVDK sample base projects were developed. sample base project contains basic startup, interrupt handling, configuration, initialization code quickly creating compiling Advantage project. This document details RVDK base projects user application development. sample projects provided separately well Thumb code generation ML674001 series ML675001 series MCUs. base project provides following features:
Assembly Startup code Stack read/write memory initialization Vector table generation code entry initialization RVDK project configuration Thumb Interrupt initialization, registration, interrupt handlers Cache initialization setup ML675001 series MCUs
Once base project copied, modified simply adding source code project compiling without additional RVDK configuration. project special requirements, modifications required project compilation setup properties.

Procedures
following procedures implementing sample base projects RVDK. There four directories provided RVDK sample projects. directory name indicates type project family supports. example, ML675003 project with ARM-Thumb inter-working, choose 5001-Thumb directory.

best method copying project file existing RVDK "New project" utility. copy desired base project follow these procedures:
From IDE, choose Project Project.
Create Project window, choose project name project desired directory. Also, select Copy Existing Project option click Select Project Copy From window, choose appropriate base project template, e.g., 5001ARM\5001-ARM.prj select Open.
RVDK will prompt: want copy directory tree? Select RVDK will launch Project Properties window. necessary change anything this window. Simply Save Exit. copied project ready additions. sure, choose Build from toolbar. RVDK will prompt: Make file does exist. want build Choose Make file automatically created. Also, project should build without errors.
