BOARD FEATURES
Standalone/microcontroller interface switching jumpers XT/CR switching jumpers jumpers used select operation standalone mode operation microcontroller interface mode. jumpers used select oscillation crystal oscillation. When standalone mode used, oscillation, jumpers lower right side three jumpers lower side. crystal oscillation, jumpers upper right side three jumpers upper side. When microcontroller used, only oscillation settable. jumpers upper left side three jumpers upper side. BUSY/NAR switching jumper When jumper turned right side, BUSY signal output from 17of 20pin connector. When jumper turned left side, signal output from same pin. When standalone computer used, turn jumper right side. AMP/TR switching jumpers amplify analog signal which output from AOUT, with transistors, jumpers right side. amplify with amplifier, turn jumpers left.

Address specification switch When standalone mode used, select word played this switch. this switch correspond A0-A2 binary data. When microcontroller used, switch Frequency check (OSC3) This monitors checks oscillation frequency. Variable resistor (VR1) adjusting frequency oscillation. This variable resistor change frequency oscillation. When resistor turned right, frequency goes low. When resistor turned left, frequency goes high. this case, frequency monitored OSC/VDD switching jumper jumper left side. Speaker amplifier volume (VR2 shared AMP/TR) Turn volume switch right increase sound volume. Turn volume switch left reduce sound volume. Complete input interface When standalone computer used, press buttons play voices corresponding SW3-SW0. Press lower left button (random voice playback button) play voices that randomly selected from types phrases corresponding SW3SW0. But, when switch pressed while turning power during input RESET, firstly voice playback made starting from phrase beyond secondly made randomly.
