Model 3041 piezoresistive silicon accelerometer surface mount hermetic ceramic package. intended high volume applications where small size, hermetic sealing, light weight, cost required. This accelerometer consists micromachined silicon mass suspended multiple beams from silicon frame. Piezoresistors located beams change their resistance motion suspended mass changes strain beams. Silicon caps bottom chip provide overrange protection built-in damping. accelerometer also provides durability, high shock resistance, wide usable bandwidth. non-surface mount accelerometers, please, models 3022, 3028, 3052, 3058.
