74HC283 high-speed Si-gate CMOS device compatible with power Schottky (LSTTL). 74HC283 specified compliance with JEDEC standard 74HC283 adds 4-bit binary words plus plus incoming carry (CIN). binary appears outputs out-going carry (COUT) according equation: 2(A2 4(A3 8(A4 16COUT Where plus. symmetry binary function, 74HC283 used with either active HIGH operands (positive logic) active operands (negative logic). case active operands results COUT should interpreted also active LOW.
