Avago Technologies ADNS-5030 optical sensor used this reference design primary navigation engine. This Optical Navigation Technology contains Image Acquisition System, Digital Signal Processor, four-wire serial port. ADNS-5030 built-in driver well internal oscillator, which means less components needed assembly. MC68HC908QY4A internal oscillator circuit which generate clock 12.8 with external components needed. auto wakeup module generates periodic interrupt during stop mode wake part without requiring external signal. These features make MC68HC908QY4A suited wireless optical mouse application. MC68HC908JB12 includes universal serial (USB) module, which makes this suited
personal computer human interface devices (HID) applications, such mice. enhanced timer function allows capturing decoding data more easily, especially suitable high data rate wireless applications. This connected port. 27MHz link established communication between mouse transmitter dongle. mouse side, data displacement, Z-wheel motion update button status will encoded with pre-defined serial format firmware. These digitally encoded data will then transmitted circuit with modulation. receiver side, packet will captured decoded. decoded data will sent host through interface.
