Quick Launch Window
Quick Launch Window starting point configuration environment. supplies necessary tools for: Creating projects opening projects from archives Setting establishing communication with drive(s) Monitoring drive's operation Sending commands drive Providing on-line help
Drive Selection
After clicking `Let select inverter' `Open project' from Quick Launch window, inverter selection window opens which lists Matsushita VF-8E, VF-8X VF-CE drives. Selecting drive automatically opens Project Navigator window loads default parameter settings selected drive.
Software
Motion Control Ver.
Project Navigator
Project Navigator active project managment window. double-clicking tree branches, possible Have access communication settings order establish communication with drive(s) Have access edit parameters (parameters grouped common theme) Make one's parameter groups with Wizard (Parameter User Groups) based application/user needs.
Editing Parameters
Parameter Edit windows display common groups parameters with default values that pertain selected drive. From these windows possible Edit drive(s) parameters Upload into more drives download parameters from drive. Start comparison between current project drive, between drives regarding currently selected parameters.
Status Monitor
Status Monitor displays current drive status, command status, fault conditions drive that on-line communicating with configuration software. Different windows selected. Monitors on/off status following parameters: (inhibited), Forward, Reverse (CCW rotation), Frequency Arrival, Overload Alarm, others Monitors current values Output Frequency, Frequency Setting, Output Current, Output Voltage (Measured values) Status Monitor opened icon from toolbar.
Software
Motion Control Ver.
Fault Screen
Fault Screen displays current drive status fault history last three alarm conditions read from drive, with first fault being most recent.
Trend Window
real-time trend graphs provide constantly updated easy-to-interpret snapshots drive operation. They immediately show relationship between output frequency, voltage, current, which very helpful confirming proper operation troubleshooting performance problems. Further parameters values selected. Trend Window opened icon toolbar.
Command Panel
Command Panel allows direct control drive from configuration software. From here possible Start stop drive Change motor direction from forward reverse Control drive's frequency setting drag-rotation speed dial with mouse pointer directly entering value frequency display field Set/reset important parameters. Command Window opened icon toolbar.
