Installation Operation Guidelines
Fusing. FlatPAC's internal fuses user-replaceable. Please return unit vendor servicing necessary. Grounding. satisfy Class grounding requirements, connect ground lead terminal marked (GND). wire. Input Voltage Connections. Connect line voltage (hot) (neutral). input wire. Recommended connector screw torque in-lbs (0.5 N-m). Recommended strip length Output Wire Gauge. output wire gauge that corresponds output current your FlatPAC unit, below: loosen bottom nut.

Output Voltage Trimming. trim outputs higher than 110% their nominal output voltage. When output trimmed exceed maximum rated output power. Operating Temperature. allow FlatPAC exceed maximum operating temperature, which reached when heat sink 85°C. (Full power delivered this temperature.) Heat sink temperature function output power voltage supply, ambient temperature, airflow across heat sink. Refer Vicor Applications Manual determine maximum ambient temperature your application. Always worst-case conditions when calculating operating temperature. Note ensure proper heat transfer from internal module(s) heat sink, mounting holes through heat sink holes one-, two-, three-up models, respectively) must contain torqued screws times during operation, whether unit mounted. unit operated unmounted, insert metric panhead screw through each hole from below secure with top, torqued in-lbs (0.7 N-m).
