Installing Drivers Windows 98SE
Turn computer Setup.exe from MCS7830 driver folder (Eg. C:/MCS7830) Following setup window appears click Install button install drives. cancel installation press Exit.
installer will display message Installation Progress. Please Wait! Then installer should display Installation Successfully completed! device currently connected, unplug device again plug Just remove device again connect device seeing this message.

Click Exit close installer. Plug-in MCS7830 Device port. Windows should detect device, automatically install drivers. When Windows desktop displayed, Driver installation complete. Note:I) multiple user accounts used your system, make sure user account with administrator privileges running Setup.exe. windows security policy only users with administrator privileges Setup.exe install different drivers applications. case Windows hardware window will appear when MCS7830 device connected port after running Setup.exe, Click next then Click continue anyway Windows logo certification popup. Click Finish complete installation. III) Following window appears. Double click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) assign Subnet addresses. DHCP supported your network then Click (With default obtain address automatically option), this ensures auto assignment. Otherwise adrs manually 192.168.200.74, 255.255.255.128.

When MCS7830 USB-Ethernet adapter Auto Negotiation) connected 100Mbps switch status will show 100Mbps. connected 10Mbps switch network status would displayed 10Mbps.
Internet Browsing Proxy server setting have Internet Explorer browsing internet proxy server installed your network. assigning proxy settings, open Internet Explorer, Tools Internet options Connections settings Then either proxy address port number manually select auto detect settings option.
Ping, Windows direct file transfer
should able ping browse Computer connected network, which MCS7830 connected. pinging other machine network, prompt Start Then type ping command with address.
Windows direct File Transfer windows Desktop, Click Start Find Computers type name Machine want browse press Enter. Shared data folders system network appear your desktop. Windows direct file transfer to/fro between your your network.

Note Windows will prompt User level password where ever applicable sharing displaying shared folders Systems network. Network name going Network Neighborhood Properties Identification. Systems needs restarted after changing name. need share either drive folder each system able browse same from some other machine need have user level access with password. share folder right mouse click Sharing Share this folder, type share name click Okay
Power management Remote Wake-up Function:- MCS7830 supports power management USB. When System gets into suspend, USB2ETH cable will draw less current from (Bus powered). Moschip USB2ETH Adapter used under also.
Updating Reinstalling Check Version Driver
Turn computer Setup.exe from Setup disk. Press "Install" start installation. message will saying "Drivers this device already installed this system! update/reinstall press abort installation press cancel!" Press reinstall/update drivers.
installer will display message "Installation Progress. Please Wait!"

Then installer should display "Driver Files updated(reinstalled) this system! need restart your Computer! Click Exit!" (Click Exit close installer) When Windows desktop displayed, Driver Update Re-installation complete. Network Control Panel Applet will network device MOSCHIP 7830 USB-Ethernet Adapter. Un-installing Previously Installed Drivers
Sometimes will desirable even necessary remove previously installed drivers, that new, clean installation performed. Unplug Moschip Ethernet adapter. Open Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs. Select "Moschip Ethernet Device" click change/remove. Un-installation dialog will displayed. Click "OK" button perform Un-Installation.
