Cera-Trim® capacitor packed desiccant should remain their original packing long possible before soldering. they have been inadvertently left unprotected, they dried placing Cera-Trim oven 85°C (122-185°F) hours depending particular oven type.
Soldering
60-40 solder (SN60-63) recommended. higher temperature solder recommended. Hand Soldering: temperature controlled watt iron 500°F maximum. solder joint should made seconds less. Wave Soldering: Recommended preheat minutes. Soldering temperature, 220°C seconds maximum. Reflow Soldering: Recommended preheat minutes. Soldering temperature, 240°C seconds maximum.
Cleaning
Cera-Trim capacitors compatible with wide variety cleaning processes including those that utilize aqueous semi-aqueous cleaning solutions, alcohol solutions, de-ionized water numerous other cleaners. However, large variety such processes, customer through cleaning process evaluation conjunction with Johanson product purchased must determine actual compatibility.
