Operates from Single Supply Supply Current: 220µA Protection Over ±10kV Available 16-Pin SOIC Narrow Package Uses Small Capacitors: 0.1µF Operates 120kBaud Output Overvoltage Does Force Current Back into Supplies RS232 Lines Forced ±25V Without Damage Compatible with LT1181A MAX232A
LTC1383 ultra-low power 2-driver/2-receiver RS232 transceiver that operates from single supply. charge pump requires only four spacesaving 0.1µF capacitors. supply current (ICC) transceiver only 220µA with driver outputs unloaded. LTC1383 fully compliant with data rate overvoltage RS232 specifications. transceiver operate 120kbaud with 2500pF, load. Both driver outputs receiver inputs forced ±25V without damage survive multiple ±10kV strikes.
