General Description
APA2020 stereo bridge-tied audio power amplifier various 24-pin power packages including TSSOP-P. When connecting voltage supply APA2020 capable delivering 1.8W/ 1.2W continuous power channel into loads with less than THD+N respectively. APA2020 simplifies design frees board space other features. APA2020 also served well low-voltage applications which provides 800-mW channel into loads with 3.3V supply voltage. Both depop circuitry thermal shutdown protection circuitry integrated APA2020 that reduces pops clicks noise during power when using shutdown mute modes protects chip from being destroyed over-temperature failure. simplify audio system design notebook computer applications APA2020 combines stereo bridge-tied loads (BTL) mode speaker drive stereo single-end (SE) mode headphone drive into single chip where both modes easily switched SE/BTL input control signal. power sensitive applications APA2020 also features shutdown function which keeps supply current only (typ).

Description Ground connection circuitry, directly connected thermal (only TSSOP-P package). Shutdown control signal input, sources current proportional junction temperature. This should left unconnected during normal operation. more inform ation, junction temperature measurem section this document. Left channel output mode, output ode. Left channel line input, selected when LINE (16) held low. Left channel headphone input, selected when LINE (16) held high. Connect voltage divider left channel internal mid-supply bias. Supply voltage input left channel prim bias circuits. Shutdown control signal input, places entire shutdown mode when held high, 0.5µA. Follows MUTE (11), provides buffered output. Left channel output ode, high-impedance state mode. Mute control signal input, hold normal operation, hold high mute. Mode control signal input, hold mode, hold high mode. Right channel output mode, high impedance state mode. control input, hold high select headphone inputs (5,20), hold select line inputs (4,21).
