Section Notes
Register Differences between Actual E6000
E6000, evaluation chip emulates several types MCU. Therefore, there some differences registers between actual E6000. Note these differences when accessing registers. port input state default. register contents indicate emulator port status. When user system interface cable connected, read value emulator's pull-up resistors. E6000, accesses following registers controlling flash memory invalid. control register (RAMCR) Flash memory control register (FLMCR) Erase block register (EBR1) Erase block register (EBR2) When target that flash memory emulated, allow /RESO output watchdog timer. Note: Although external output reset signal enabled disabled reset-output enable watchdog timer control register, this should enabled because internal registers reset reset signal. reset, reset signal reinitializes resetoutput enable disabled state.

Access On-Chip Area
using RAME SYSCR, area used external address area. Note that only User (user memory) accessed external address Emulator (option memory). this case, internal Memory Mapping. specify Emulator (option memory) area including internal RAM.
Support Flash Memory
E6000 does emulate flash memory control operation MCU.
Optional SIMM Memory Module
When optional SIMM memory module board installed E6000, four banks optional SIMM memory module allocated within user area memory mapping. Note that following restrictions apply optional SIMM memory module. Table Restrictions Optional SIMM Memory Module
Item Operating frequency Restrictions When operating frequency less, there restrictions operating frequency. operating frequency higher than MHz, optional SIMM memory module three-state area. this emulator, access state control wait control controller enabled optional SIMM memory module. wait control according frequency. reset, optional SIMM memory module accessed three cycles with three waits. this emulator, when operating frequency less, optional SIMM memory module accessed three cycles with wait. Single chip There external access area single-chip mode. This area memory reserved where read write access disabled. this emulator, optional SIMM memory module allocated reserved area. However, restrictions reserved area described below apply. Reserved area When optional SIMM memory module allocated reserved area, wait state will three cycles with wait regardless setting controller. optional SIMM memory module accessed when operating frequency less. actual accesses reserved area, note that normal operation cannot guaranteed.
