USER PROGRAM will LOST. connect cable head user system, follow instructions below. 2.2.1 Soldering Socket Install socket BP-112-packaged user system. Gently apply solder pads user system. careful keep thickness solder within much solder will cause short-circuiting pins. socket vacuum-packed avoid oxidization surfaces solder balls. thus recommended that socket installed user system don's install socket immediately after package comes opened. After package's seal been broken, store socket desiccator. touch solder balls. they touched, solder adhere solder surface. socket covered protective cover. Socket cover fastened together four screws before whole vacuum packed prevent bending socket's pins. avoid scattering (dispersal) flux from other components socket, keep protective cover socket until solder reflow been completed. Install provided guide pins into holes guide pins user system. Check that pads correctly aligned with socket. Notes soldering socket socket larger than actual package; therefore, refer figure installation other components. install components that occupy large volume close socket. Such components will prevent convective flow heat during reflow. Since socket greater volume than package, recommended that temperature profile under conditions used installation measured attaching temperature sensor back side socket. Under reflow conditions soldering socket, specify actual heating more than 210°C seconds. Recommended Reflow Conditions Surface temperature IC-socket connector Preheating: 180°C seconds Actual heating: more than 210°C, seconds CAUTION Never socket flux wash clean socket. This because flux remain inside socket socket's structure. When using socket with other products, never clean other products with flux because flux enter connector through guide pins socket. When socket with guide pins soldered user system, about guide pins will stick (when user-system board thick). When load applied guide pins from back user-system board, stress will applied soldered part socket, this destroy connectors. apply load guide pins after socket been soldered user system. When socket with guide pins soldered user system, soldered part will crack stress applied socket. Therefore, always apply adhesive connector user system that there firm connection between them. When socket guide pins, recommended that epoxy resin adhesive solder applied guide pins back user system make sure that stress applied soldered part 2.2.2 Inserting Cable Head CAUTION Check location before inserting. Align socket BP-112 package user system with user system interface cable head, insert user system interface cable head into socket user system, shown figure Figure Connecting User System Interface Cable User System 2.2.3 Fastening Cable Head CAUTION screwdriver whose head matches screw head. tightening torque must 0.054 less. applied torque cannot accurately measured, stop tightening when force required turn screw becomes significantly greater than that needed when first tightening. screw tightened much, screw head break socket contact error caused crack socket solder. emulator does operate correctly, cracks might have occurred solder. user system interface cable (HS2238RECB62H) head socket BP-112 package user system have dedicated alignment. follow procedure fasten cable head.
