GENERAL DESCRIPTION
AAT1109 one-channel step-up controller incorporating soft-start short circuit protection (SCP) function. This device consists on-chip voltage reference, error amplifier, pulse width modulation controller, under-voltage lockout protection, soft-start, short circuit protection circuits. Switching frequency 1MHz external resistor capacitor. Soft-start time implemented capacitor. Additionally, chip-enable feature also provided power down reduce current supply 10µA With minimal external components, AAT1109 offers simple economical solution.

TIME CONSTANT SOFT-START SHORT CIRCUIT PROTECTION
Soft-Start AAT1109 operates soft-start mode. comparator monitors voltage soft-start setting
pin, which varies proportionally each other. This proportion relation controls duty activates soft-start operation. Soft-start mode, voltage VSCP input comparator, that duty determined VSCP When soft-started mode completed, setting voltage remains high circuit enters output short circuit protection wait state while VSCP remains low. Soft-Start Time (sec 0.84 CSCP (µF)
