Notice: ML69240-C49 designed conform ISO/IEC 7816-3 second edition 1997 with following limitations: ML69240-C49 operates under Class (5V) only, hence class indicator received examined. asynchronous clock provided fixed 3.5795 Clock stop supported. supported data rate fixed 9600 baud. recommended that host communication speed kept 19200 baud above avoid under overruns. line kept Pause state once card powered under asynchronous conditions, does supply programming power. ML69240-C49 uses host buffer data, hence supports maximum block size, requires host participate error recovery retransmission blocks well reception blocks with chaining flag set. fixed cannot guarantee proper operation with type IC-card, strongly recommend evaluate functional electrical characteristics combination with possible ICcards before design-in.

General
Name RESET Description Reset input. signal applied least machine cycle (0.81µs 14.7456 MHz) ML69240-C49 reset. Power-on-reset function achieved connecting capacitor between this Vcc. Clock oscillator input/output. Connect 14.7456 crystal. Power supply pin. Connect ports higher bits external address bus. Connect (+5V). ports lower bits external address data bus.
