Description
IRPT5051 Power Assembly
IRPT50 power assembly (figure consists input rectifiers, thermistor, output inverter connectors, mounted Insulated Metal Substrate (IMS). input side employs 16OOV SMD-220 rectifier diodes, while inverter section employs SMD-10 surface-mount 12OOV short-circuit-rated IGBT co-pack switches. thermistor mounted near inverter provides temperature sensing capability. lead spacing power assembly meet UL840 pollution level requirements. power circuit layout carefully designed minimize inductance power path, reduce noise during inverter operation improve inverter efficiency. driver board required inverter interfaced power assembly through solder pins thus minimizing assembly alignment effort. power assembly designed mounted heat sink with five screw mount positions (one each corner fifth near center) order insure good thermal contact between heat sink.
