start-up power supply voltage :1.4V(CH4) Wide supply voltage range from 1.8V (CH1~4) High speed operation possible: Maximum Supports flyback up/down SEPIC conversion (CH1~4) Totem-pole type output MOSFET Built-in On/Off function Built-in Short-Circuit Protection.
AT1382A 4-channel DC/DC control voltage applications with soft start function short circuit detection function. This ideal conversion, down conversion, up/down conversion (using step-up/stepdown SEPIC system with free input output settings). Four channels built LQFP48 package, each channel controlled, soft-start. AT1382A include comparator generate low-battery warning outputs. also contains gain block that used with external P-channel MOSFET make low-dropout linear regulator.

Function Description Power Converter Functions
voltage block reference voltage circuit generates temperature independence voltage (typical 0.9V) from power source, which used reference voltage IC's internal circuitry supply load current above external device. oscillator block triangular wave oscillator generated timing resistor (RT) timing capacitor(CT) incorporate each other. waveforms (amplitude 0.3V 0.7V), (amplitude 0.25V 0.65V phase with (amplitude 0.25V 0.65V inverse phase with input comparator. amplifier block error amplifier outputs controlling error signal comparator from sensing DC/DC converter output voltage. addition arbitrary loop gain connecting feedback resistor capacitor from output inverted input error amplifier, order make stable phase compensation system. comparator block comparator voltage-to-pulse width converter controlling duty cycle DC/DC converter. Channels 1and main sides, channel comparator keeps output transistor turn while error amplifier output voltage voltage still higher than triangular wave voltage. Channels synchronous rectification sides comparator keeps output transistor turn while error amplifier output voltage still lower than triangular wave voltage. block output block totem pole configuration which could drive external MOSFET transistor. detect block AT1382A battery-low comparator open-drain output sinks input below threshold voltage. Connect power source with 100K~1M pullup resistor. gain block AT1382A analog gain block voltage amplifier with gain push-pull output stage with drive capability. analog gain block used with external P-channel MOSFET pass transistor build low-dropout linear regulator. Connect ENLD High enable gain block.

Protective Functions
circuit protection timer latch short circuit detection comparator each channel detects output voltage level power converter. When channel output voltage falls below short-circuit detection level, there constant current bias charging external capacitor CSCP which connected CSCP until capacitor voltage level reaches about 0.7V then turn output transistor disable could reset actuated protection restart power source. lockout protection under-voltage lockout protection disable while supply voltage transient state momentary decrease, which cause malfunction. prevent such malfunctions, under-voltage lockout protection circuit detects decrease internal reference voltage with respect power supply voltage, turns output transistor, sets dead time 100% while holding CSCP level. circuit restores output transistor normal when power source voltage reaches threshold voltage under-voltage lockout protection circuit.
