These synchronous, presettable counters feature internal carry look-ahead application high-speed counting designs. 'AHC163 4-bit binary counters. Synchronous operation provided having flip-flops clocked simultaneously that outputs change coincident with each other when instructed count-enable (ENP, ENT) inputs internal gating. This mode operation eliminates output counting spikes normally associated with synchronous (ripple-clock) counters. buffered clock (CLK) input triggers four flip-flops rising (positive-going) edge clock waveform.
