DESCRIPTION APPLICATION VCT1000B hitless-switching dual-input stratum jitter timing module with status outputs alarms. Dual references independently selected lock digital phase lock loop resulting excellent long short-term stability. control inputs used steer state machine decisions operation module. state machine will enter maintain operation free run, holdover, locked condition. state machine operates under requirements section Telcordia GR-1244-CORE. Four status pins indicate condition, which unit operating, alarm outputs indicate loss lock holdover free operation. signal outputs jitter oscillator output divided 8kHz output. Input phase rearrangement allows output remain hitless upon switching references, regardless input phase. Dimensions 0.55". state machine used assure that switching reference allowed, that both references qualified.
