Description
PI8SA8564 serve SmartMediacard Memory Stick (MS) interface controller dedicate applications disk other portable devices. PI8SA8564 connect SmartMedia cards with each 128M bytes memory capacity. also support Samsung's advanced flash memory 1G/2G bits. speed data transfer between SmartMedia card interface, there enhanced (memory management unit) architecture implemented support transfer without intervention. Therefore, only clock rate required provide advantage power consumption. powerful function also provided ease updating user program board interface external flash memory used user program storage device. software programming internal registers compatible those defined Pericom PI8SA8564 SMC/MS, USB, port (P0/P1/P2/P3) interfaces except additional enable signals connect more SmartMedia cards, which shared with port bus.
