Application Information
Compensation Techniques CA3078A CA3078 phase compensated with external components depending upon closed loop gain, power consumption, speed desired. recommended compensation resistor series with capacitor connected from Terminal Terminal Values resistor capacitor required compensation function closed loop gain shown Figures These curves represent compensation necessary quiescent currents 100µA 20µA, respectively, transient response with overshoot. Figures show slew rates that obtained with different compensation techniques. Higher speeds achieved with input compensation, this increases noise output. Compensation also accomplished with single capacitor connected from Terminal Terminal with speed being sacrificed simplicity. Table gives indication slew rates that obtained with various compensation techniques quiescent currents 100µA 20µA. Single Supply Operation CA3078A CA3078 operate from single supply with minimum total supply voltage 1.5V. Figures show CA3078A CA3078 inverting non-inverting 20dB amplifier configurations utilizing 1.5V type "AA" cell supply. total consumption either circuit approximately 675nW. output voltage swing this configuration 300mVP-P with load.
