General Description
AAT1109A one-channel switching regulator control incorporating soft start function short circuit protection function. Each device consists on-chip voltage reference, error amplifier, pulse width modulation controller, under-voltage protection, soft start short circuit protection circuits. Switching frequencies 1MHz external resistor capacitor. Soft-start time implemented capacitor. Additionally, chip enable feature provided power down reducing supply current 10uA. With minimum number external components, AAT1109A offers simple cost effective solution.

Soft start time Ts(sec) 0.84 CSCP (uF) 2.Short circuit protection switching regulator output suddenly drops loading effect error amplifier output fixed VOM+ capacitor CSCP starts charging. When voltage reaches approximately 1.26V ,the output stays low. Once protection circuit operates, circuit recovered setting power supply. Short circuit detection time Tscp(sec) 0.84 CSCP (uF)
