Technical Overview PCO-7120 uses IXYS-RF DE-150 Series MOSFET driven with IXYS-RF IXDD415SI high speed gate drive main switching element. Unlike avalanche transistor drivers, power MOSFET PCO-7120 operated breakdown, instead controlled gate with highspeed gate drive circuit. This design provides high degree reliability, excellent switching performance, variable pulse width superior amplitude temporal stability over broad operating temperature range. driver requires three user-supplied inputs: gate put, +15VDC support power, high voltage input (+100V maximum). output pulse follows input gate width frequency. output current depends upon available charge driver's energy storage network.
