Functional Overview
TSYN01622 designed manage clock generation timing distribution SONET/SDH compliant line card solutions OC-48 data rates. Additional external circuitry used extend TSYN01622 performance OC-192 transmitter applications. TSYN01622's output clocks designed meet relevant output clock jitter generation specifications maximum time interval error (MTIE). supports range common input frequencies from 51.84 MHz. integrated digital state machine monitors presence input clock signal. Programming TSYN01622 accomplished through external ball control through internal registers serial interface. range SONET clock frequencies generated with clocks available multiple low-skew LVDS LVPECL output buffers order provide fan-out clock distribution sources multiple chips within system. sync signal with user-programmable offset generated available CMOS, LVDS, LVPECL output buffers. duty cycle output sync signal selectable either width single clock pulse determined maximum selected SONET/SDH related output frequency.
