The RS-232 Mini Wiring Adapter can be very useful when interconnecting two RS-232 devices. The adapter has one male and one female connector. Pins 2 through 25 of both connectors go to individual pins of the center socket strips. These sockets allow the two connectors to be interwired in any pattern. The adapter comes with a package of 20 jumper wires which will plug into sockets for temporary wiring or experimenting. Protective ground (pin 1) is wired directly from the male connector to the female connector.
