Altima AC207 highly integrated 0.25u CMOS silicon solution. combines functions 10/100 dual speed bridged repeater including transceivers, 7-wire hard-wire configurable interface, internal repeaters, twoport bridge with embedded memory. AC207 contains eight 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet transceivers, which configured into fullduplex uplink port. transceivers perform physical layer interface functions 10BASE-T Ethernet Category unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable 100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet Category cable. MII-compatible interface allows AC207 designed into many different applications, reducing number separate devices necessary meet multiple design requirements. AC207 represents marked improvement over previous generation dual-speed bridged repeater family AC108R. Because memory embedded silicon, AC207 offers obvious advantage cost savings discrete memory device. Additionally, 128-pin PQFP package means savings manufacturing testing.
