GLASS ENCAPSULATED BEAD
Type directly heated bead type thermistors primarily intended applications where high sensitivity electrical power input required. thermistor element consists very small bead thermistor material, approximately 0.25mm (0.010 in.) diameter, which integrally formed parallel platinum alloy wires. These wires then welded cunife lead wires whole assembly sealed evacuated glass envelope. Applications these thermistors include amplitude control, voltage stabilization, time delay power measurement.
