This series converters does require external components proper operation. However, distribution input voltage converter contains significant inductance, capacitor across input terminals required stabilize input voltage. minimum 1µF, quality electrolytic ceramic capacitor recommended this purpose. output decoupling recommended connect ceramic capacitor directly across output pins converter (illustrated follows).

Thermal Considerations

Output Current Limiting
When output overloaded above maximum output current rating, voltage will start reduce maintain output power safe level. condition high overload short-circuit where output voltage pulled below approximately Vo.Nom, unit will enter `Hiccup' mode operation. Under this condition unit will attempt restart, approximately every 20ms until overload cleared.
Voltage Sense Description Shutdown Feature

With positive logic, when remote control pulled low, output turned unit goes into very input power mode. open collector switch recommended control voltage between remote control -Vin converter. remote control pulled internally, external voltage source required. user should avoid connecting resistor between remote control +Vin pin. user must take care ensure that reference control connected close pin. control signal must referenced ahead filtering, remotely from unit. remote control used, left floating. voltage sense feature compensates voltage drops that occur point load tracks other losses. These converters feature 1500 Volt isolation from input output. input output resistance greater than 10MOhm.
