Introduction
This catalogue describes Cannon connectors designed manufactured MIL-C-5015, military specification covering electrical connectors. These connectors were originally designed aircraft, widely used many other fields. They particularly suitable commercial applications requiring cost high reliability. design connector classes MS-E, MS-F MS-R conforms MIL-C-5015 class connectors supersede previous class connectors. programs only class should ordered.The coupling measurements well dimensions class MS-E, accordance with latest revision 0095342. Wall mount receptacle, receptacle, cable connector straight plug have same coupling dimensions. This allows mating different classes these connectors. connectors class designed operate extreme environmental conditions. These connectors completely sealed withstand moisture, condensation, vibration flash-over. MS-F MS-R connectors have resilient grommet around each wire. This allows wires slide through grommet with minimum friction. when ferrule sealed endbells tightened, provides perfect wire seal through wide variety wire diameters. This seal rear plus interfacial seal front, effect completely environmental resistant assembly when plug mated receptacle.
Different Classes
Connector classes 3106F, 3106R 3108R feature O-ring under coupling nut. missing connectors class 3106E 3108E. reduce size weight, connector classes 3100R, 3101R 3106R have cable strain relief. angle plug 3106R cable clamp suitable hose connection. Strain relief this connector ordered separately (see page 23). Moreover, construction materials used identical connector classes.
