INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS
INTRODUCTION V-EA* easily snaps onto readily available, international standard 35mm Rail. Mounting position from full horizontal full vertical without affecting performance. housings same size regardless rated current, simplifying layout modifications. Line power feed either bottom terminals. This provides flexibility power distribution enclosure entry (top, bottom, sides) internal raceway runs (e.g., power horizontal raceway feed both above below). Minimal free space required remove replace V-EAs, with standard housing terminal sizes, ratings changed multi-poles replace multi-single pole viceversa. obtain highest density mounting arrangement without serious problems from heat build-up, "Temperature Correction Curve" (page 22). EASY REMOVAL Removal, Pole Insert less straight blade screwdriver into slot metal retaining clip. Brace shank screwdriver against terminal side V-EA* gently lever clip away from rail. When clip moves out, continue rotating screwdriver V-EA* bottom rail lip. Grasp V-EA* lift upwards disengage from rail, then remove.
WIRING Field wiring terminal size acceptability: Top: 18-3 Bottom: 18-2 75°C insulation copper conductors only, loaded 60°C ampacity.
