Insulated Ferrules
Ferrules ensure reliable electrical connections when terminating conductors screw clamp terminal blocks. Fraying breaking wire strands prevented possibility unreliable connection minimized. Insulated ferrules prevent conductor breakage bending, wire stress vibration, while facilitating wire insertions into terminal block clamp. Ferrules preferred alternative twisting wire stands tinning wire before terminating into terminal block. Ferrules thin-walled copper tubes, which mechanically crimped onto ends stranded wires. They easy simply strip wire, slide ferrule onto wire crimp.
Apply Ferrule
Strip insulation from wire insert into insulated ferrule. Using designated crimping tool, place metal shaft into tool's appropriate slot. Compress tool make crescent-shape depression along length ferrule. Insert crimped ferrule into terminal block. Tighten ferrule wire into terminal block.
