SPIRALWRAP
Spiralwrap protective sheathing allows flexible routing lead-out cables. inner edges beveled prevent damage cables. U.L. Recognized Spiralwrap reusable resistant most chemicals. Natural black standard colors (see material descriptions). Colors available dependent upon volume requirements. Contact HellermannTyton more information. Applications:
Control Cabinet Doors: Protects cable from friction when cable fastened within panel other fastened panel door. Allows flexibility prevents wire chafing when door opened closed. Robotics: Secures hoses wires during movement. Pneumatic Hoses: Protects hoses from abrasion while semi-trucks other vehicles. Spark Plug Wires: Lengthens life spark plug wires reducing abrasion wire insulation.
Installation Spiralwrap installed basic ways: gapped installation, Spiralwrap wrapped with space between sheathing. This accommodates wire breakouts also keeps wire bundle flexible. butted installation, Spiralwrap wrapped sheathing completely insulates wire bundle. This provides superior abrasion resistance additional rigidity.
