VREF output voltage bandgap-referenced biasing circuit acts input voltage circuit. base-emitter voltage transistor, designed turn-on below voltage. VREF (R11+R12) 400mV When chip temperature rises 175oC, then turn-on voltage would drop down 400mV. Hence, would turn output circuit will muted. when temperature fall 150oC, will turn-off again output will operate normally.
When mute pin7 open voltage mute pin7 below 0.5V, mute circuit activated that output circuit will muted. When voltage mute above mute circuit stopped output circuit operates normally. chip temperature rises above 175oC, then (Thermal shutdown) circuit activated output circuit muted.
Regulator VREF output voltage bandgap-referenced biasing circuit reference voltage regulator. external circuit composed transistor, KSB772 capacitor, 100µF, capacitor used ripple eliminator should have good temperature characteristics. output voltage, VOUT decided follows. VOUT VREF

input voltages pairs applied input pin9 pin14 respectively. When input voltages applied input pin9 input pin14, then output comparator decided depending input voltage status. shown above diagram, difference [VREF1 [VREF1 R)], applied both terminals motor. direction motor decided voltage difference, output characteristics follows, pin9 pin14 then pin15 pin16 hence motor turns forward direction. pin9 pin14 then pin15 pin16 hence motor turns reverse direction. pin9 pin14 then hence motor stops. pin9 pin14 then hence motor stops. When rotation speed control loading motor desired, refer following.

voltage, VREF, reference voltage given bias voltage pin23. input signal through pin3 amplified 10k/10k times then level shift. level shift produces current difference between input signal arbitrary reference signal. current produced into driver buffer. Driver Buffer operates power Transistor output stage according state input signal. output stage Driver motor rotating forward direction operating transistor transistor other hand, transistor transistor operating, motor rotating reverse direction. When input voltage through pin3 below VREF, then direction motor forward direction.
When input voltage through pin3 above VREF, then direction motor reverse direction. desired change gain, then pin4 pin24 used. When bias voltage pin23 below 1.4V, then output circuit muted. Hence normal operation, bias voltage should used between 1.6V~6.5V.
Connect by-pass capacitor 0.1µF between supply voltage sources ground stabilize input supply voltage.
