GM5510 series highly precise, power consumption voltage detectors. Manufactured using CMOS laser trimming technologies. Detect voltage extremely accurate with minimal temperature drift. Both CMOS channel open drain output configurations available.

Function Description (CMOS output)
When input voltage (VIN) rises above detect voltage (VDF), output voltage (VOUT) will equal VIN. condition high impedance exists with open drain output configurations.) When input voltage (VIN) falls below detect voltage (VDF), output voltage (VOUT) will equal ground voltage (VSS) level. When input voltage (VIN)falls level below that minimum operating voltage (VMIN), output will become unstable.
this condition, will equal pulled-up output (should output pulled-up). When input voltage (VIN) rises above ground voltage (VSS) level, output will unstable levels below minimum operating voltage (VMIN). Between VMIN detect release voltage (VDR) levels, ground voltage (VSS)level will
maintained. When input voltage (VIN) rises above detect release voltage (VDR), output voltage (VOUT) will equal VIN. condition high impedance exists with open drain output configurations). difference between represents hysteresis range.

When resistor connected between input with CMOS output configurations, oscillation occur result voltage drops load current (IOUT) exists. (Refer below) When resistor connected between input with CMOS output configurations, irrespective output configurations, oscillation occur result through current time voltage release even load current (IOUT) does exist. (Refer below) With resistor connected between input, detect release voltage will rise result IC's supply current flowing through pin. order stabilise IC's operations, please ensure that pin's input frequency's rise fall times more than several sec/

Oscillation Output current oscillation with CMOS output configuration When voltage applied rises, release operations commence detector's output voltage increases. Load current (IOUT) will flow Because voltage drop (RIN IOUT) produced resistor, located between input (IN) pin, load current will flow IC's pin. voltage drop will also lead fall voltage level pin. When voltage level falls below detect voltage level, detect operations will commence. Following detect operations, load current flow will cease since voltage drop will disappear, voltage level will rise release operations will begin over again. Oscillation occur with this "release" repetition. Further, this condition will also appear means similar mechanism during detect operations. Oscillation result through current Since GM5510 series CMOS IC's, through current will flow when IC's internal circuit switching operates (during release detect operations). Consequently, oscillation liable occur result drops voltage through current's resistor (RIN) during release voltage operations. (Refer diagram2) Since hysteresis exists during detect operations, oscillation unlikely occur.
