Description
CD54HC4046A/3A CD54HCT4046A/3A high speed Si-gate CMOS devices that compatible with CD4046B "4000B" series. They specified compliance with JEDEC standard number HC/HCT4046A phase-locked loop circuits that contain linear voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) three different phase comparators (PC1, PC2, PC3). signal input comparator input common each comparator. signal input directly coupled large voltage signals, indirectly coupled (with series capacitor) small voltage signals. self-bias input circuit keeps small voltage signals within linear region input amplifiers. With passive low-pass filter, 4046A forms second-order loop PLL. excellent linearity achieved linear op-amp techniques.
