This supports VoIP protocol stacks, VxWorks operating system, customer application software. Programming done Broadcom's objectoriented signal processing API. 87-MHz with 48-KB instruction 32-KB data RAM. support narrowband voice communication using G.711, G.726, G.723.1/A, G.729A/AB, BroadVoice16, wideband communications using G.722 BroadVoice32. Full-duplex speakerphone capability supported conjunction with these voice compression techniques phone designs. also supports enhanced Packet Loss Concealment, Jitter Buffer, relay telephony algorithms e.g., DTMF Call Progress Tones).
Analog codecs: integrated analog CODECs capable supporting both narrowband Kilohertz (KHz) wideband sampling, which, conjunction with wideband voice coders, such Broadcom's BroadVoice32, will enable phone networks deliver high fidelity voice transmission. 10/100BASE-T Media Access Controller Transceiver. Media Access Controller (MAC) supports 802.1p prioritization voice packets 802.1Q VLAN support segmenting physical networks into multiple logical networks. transceiver performs functions 100BASE-T Ethernet full- half-duplex mode over Category (CAT) twisted pair cabling 10BASE-T Ethernet full- half-duplex mode over twisted-pair cable. also supports auto-MDI/MDIX detection allow cable type. transceiver integrates support in-line powering over Ethernet. BCM1115R software compatible with BCM1101 BCM1112 suited Phone Terminal Adapter products that require basic application features sets, while still requiring same voice quality reliability higher products.
