Basic Operation: CMOS Output (Active Low) 1-1. When power supply voltage (VDD) higher than release voltage (+VDET), transistor transistor provide (high) output. Oscillation
applications where resistor connected voltage detector input (Figure 16), taking CMOS active products example, through-type current which generated when output goes from high (release) causes voltage drop equal [through-type current] [input resistance] across resistor. When input voltage drops below detection voltage (-VDET) result, output voltage goes level. this state, through-type current stops resultant voltage drop disappears, output goes from high. through-type current again generated, voltage drop appears, repeating process finally induces oscillation.
